I think this is one of the most beautiful songs ever written and performed. It's perfection!!!!

They are still my favorite group as I grew up with them! They don't make music like they used to. I miss the old songs.

Only one guy is from the original group

There are two originals in my videos of them here at Kennywood. Chuck Blasko, on the left. He’s also the one that does most if the talking, introducing the songs and such. Then there’s Hugh Geyer, third from the left. He was the tenor of the group. The one that did all those high extra runs in these songs, just like you hear on the records.

Don't recognize any as original members. They're doing a good job though.

The only "original" member is Troy Elich. He's the son of original member Stan Elich.

wicky201 neither Stan nor his son had anything to do with the actual group that recorded the songs that we know as The Vogues. I don’t know much of this story but somewhere along the way, after the recording group disbanded, Stan was somehow able to purchase the rights to use the name Vogues. Apparently he started a group that used the name and performed across the country. Chuck Blasco (the one on the left in this video) was wanting to use the name Vogues for his group. He is one of the four guys that recorded the music. There was a court hearing that stated that he was able to perform as the Vogues only in the southwestern Pennsylvania area,. That’s where the original guys were from. If he performed outside that area he could not use the name and would have to call his group another name. Stans group got the rights to perform in the rest of the country as the Vogues. A lot of people got upset that he was passing his group off as the ones that actually recorded the songs which he had nothing to do with. Now at one point he actually got two of the originals to perform in his group. They were Hugh Geyer, the one that stands third from the left in this video, and lead singer Bill Burkette. Hugh has since retired from performing and Bill has passed away. And I understand that Stan has passed away also. I don’t know the current status of what’s left of that group. Chucks lead singer, Keith Dix pictured here, has also passed away. I don’t know if Chucks group is still performing or not.
