This had to be 2003 or 2004. I worked in refreshments starting in 2003 when Volcano Valley was new (present in video) but before I moved to rides in 2005 and they removed tickets and general admisstion (you can see a ride sign with ticket information on the wipeout) - which leads me to believe it had to be either 2003 or 2004.

Crazy to think the only rides on this video is still in operation is the merry go round, the racer, the jackrabbit, the swings, Auto race, kangaroo since it reopened ;), Aero 360, thunderbolt, pirate ship, musik express, phantoms revenge, Noah’s ark, and the Pittsburgh plunge because the rest closed.

I’m only 14, but this closing soundtrack always brought some nostalgia to me. Maybe it’s because I’ve been going to Kennywood ever since I was like 7 months old and every year I hear these songs play after another great day at this park ends. It could be a tired 3 year old me being carried by my mom or dad or present day me waking with family or friends to the exit. I just wanna say that this closing soundtrack always brought some magic to park that I feel like many other parks can’t really emulate.

these guys did two of my favorite songs from the 60s y this and five oclock world .there were more great songs in the 1960s then any other decade, from hard rock to pop to bubblegum . instrumentals , from the Archies to Hendrix and everything in between .peace love and music .

My son was almost killed on this ride. He slipped under the bar and fell to the floor. I had to get under the bar and grab him then wedge myself between the seats until the ride stopped. I yelled for the operator to stop but he didn't. That was in 1999. Never went back to that park afterwards.
