They were fantastic. Shakira incorporated salsa, Rock, Pop, Arab dance, the champeta that is very traditional in her native Barranquilla, on the Caribbean coast. More than a presentation, it was a cultural show to teach the world something about our country and our Colombian people. Jlo also did very well, her human message with the people who emigrate, her great talent too. We are proud of them as Latinos. Thanks for your reaction, Andy. Greetings from Colombia 🇨🇴

I am so happy Shakira showed the range in her musical catalog. Most people in America only know her pop hits. I've loved her since I was a kid in the 90s and she was known for her latin rock sound.

Due to the fact that I'm colombian, specifically from Barranquilla. I was living for each Shakira's participation. I have to say that the Champeta here in my region was tagged for people from poor areas, that perception was changing through the years and nowadays is a rithym that identify all the people from the colombian caribbean coast. And this contributions from @Shakira , dancing champeta in the Super Bowl, is just unbelievable. She made me cry, just for thinking in all those musician from Cartagena and Barranquilla that were fighting for so long to have a spot in the music industry and after the show the world! was dancing champeta. I'm so proud of Shakira, my culture and my people.

Shakira was also dancing Mapale which is a African rithym that we inherit and is a popular dance during the Barranquilla's Carnival. Shakira was playing the guitar the drums, dancing with a cord, doing the belly dance, dancing salsa, singing pop, rock, regueton, each single song was a different rhythm and her voice was just fenomenal.

Jlo has such a good repertoire, each song was a joy!, my favorite one: all!. Let's get loud is one of my favorite songs ever!.

Your comment is excellent! I don't know why so many of the videos try to pit one lady against the other. Nobody's changing their mind with this, if you are a JLo fan, you loved her performance. If you are a Shakira fan, you loved her performance. It's even ok to love BOTH (oh the horror of it!). Even if you don't like JLo, but love Swing Latino (yes, from Cali) why wouldn't you be happy for them because JLo has given them opportunities FOR YEARS, that Salsa dancers would never get! Do you want to see them without work? When people post asking why Shakira and her dancers performing an Irish Jig, I always tell them about champeta and where it comes from, and I'm not a huge Shakira fan. I always do. Come on, ladies. Why do you hate JLo more than you love Shakira? Why do you hate JLo more than you love being Latinas? It makes me sad.

What Shakira did on that stage that night.... so effortlessly. The production itself though so well put together. Jay Z wanted to captivate latino culture from American Latinos in the US (JLo) & Latinos on a global scale outside the US (Shakira).

It was a pride for Colombians, not only to see Shakira honoring the typical dances of Colombia, but also JLo by having the best team of dancers from Cali Colombia, just like seeing J Balvin, it was really incredible, the best show of history 🇨🇴

I’m a fan of Shakira and I’ve followed her since her beginning. I love JLo too & her acting. I do miss that. This was an Amazing performance. Also want to say thank you sir, for doing this program. It teaches everyone to love music from all over the world. There’s so much out there and so much culture to learn.
