There's probably a place like this somewhere in the world for sure. Whoever has a similar view like this near their home, I envy you. I'm sick of this cramped neighborhood. There's houses and buildings everywhere, smoke and pollution. Noisy vehicles and cars. I just want to go to a place where I can finally breathe.

Standing at a crossroads in your life, watching the final seconds of your old life pass, until finally it slips out of your fingertips and you are only left with the path that leads forwards, to reminisce of your past as you walk onto your future... Slowly, the thoughts of your past are replaced with new excitements and new adventures that this path leading forwards has brought, and you let go of your attachment to who you were before and move to become who you will be... that is the story this song portrayed to me...

If you are lost in this world... know that you’ve left tracks behind yourself that helped or made you make it up to this point. Your existence isn’t pointless. When you are lost, retrace back to those tracks and try to find deeper meaning in them, ask yourself ‘why the heck am I even lost?’ It might be tough. But, you can do it. After that...hopefully... you can find better tracks than the ones that made you lost. And feel grateful that you were once lost-

Listening to this made me feel like a wind-up toy. As if some entity, turned the key behind me and I'm alive again. Momentarily reminiscing all the good things that have come to pass, seeing the vibrant dust in my room turn to sparkle as they make everything inside feel alive. Until the time runs out, and gradually the music weakens. I was alone again, and the color have dulled. I stood still. In my lifeless room, hoping someone could wind me back.

But its pointless isn't it? Yes, changes are good, growing old is a privilege, losing and gaining establishes each others.. As meaningless as its sounds but at least I can enjoy it all while it last..

Ah the feeling of nostalgia. The emptiness of life, a life without any events. It only keeps repeating the same sad and boring events in my life that isn't really different from being dead. What a sad world we all live in. No freedom, no independence, stuck up in the same place being forced to do things that you don't want to do. And here I am, just waiting for the time to die and not rush at all. What's even the point in dying right away? What's the point of living to this point? I don't really know neither do I care.

I was listening to this song again since I always seem come back to it every month or two and saw your comment again... I've always felt like this song portrayed a lifetime, or memories of one. Perhaps a person is in their last moments of life, and in a moment of clarity revisits their precious moments. While this was fresh in my mind and I listened to the beginning sound effect again I suddenly remembered a memory I had of a long time ago. My grandmother had an old vintage slide projector that my family had found and unpacked. We set it up when I was little to look at her old slides and I recall it sounding very similar. I looked up some videos that had a vintage slide projector and sure enough it does sound a lot like the sound in the beginning when it changes slides! Could still be an old bead lamp chain though since they both sound similar haha.
