Great update mate, monthly updates would be awesome. So many great builds online but seeing follow ups is rare, so it's good to see how it's tracking, what worked and what didn't etc. Keep it up.

Try to fill the sides with crushed rock where fish hide ☺️ if you couldn't see them you couldn't take care of them

Good tip! I’ve seen the Plecos come out at night to snack on the algae wafers. The Amazonian ones just didn’t survive the trip and that’s where he went to hide
