Hello everyone! In this video, I teach you about the Halosar Trap. It comes from the Ryder Gambit of the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit, and you can checkmate in just 9, 11, or 16 moves with incredible tactics. Plus, if they don't fall for the checkmate, you still end up with a completely winning position. This is episode one of Opening Traps. Have fun!

I tried this trap, TOTALLY messed it up, but the guy I was playing was trying to time me out. But I waited and completely won

Both! Above that rating though, being 2 pawns down for a tricky gambit is probably a bad idea.

At 3:00 if he not capture my Queen instead he takes queen to right side of my knight preventing checkmate what I should do this can be the best move for black

When the queen takes the horse and we end up at 3:33 they just move the pawn in between. What's next? We could move our queen to safety but then we lose the rook. I can't find any good plays to do after 3:33

when they block with the pawn take with the bishop and then when they take with other pawn take with the queen then you can trade rooks or save your own

What if black queen just goes back to d8 after taking the free pawn?
@jonathanp89
@jonathanp89 Жыл бұрын
Rd1 if queen is silly enough to take take back with K. If they put a piece in front of their Queen, just continue development around it, I'd imagine white would be up a couple of points on the engine due to having a lot of pieces out.

There are things that can go wrong here if black doesn't do those early moves as predicted & he castle's. Great video though
