YES!! Thank you so much for uploading this wonderful work and bringing it to wider attention. Along with Andreae’s 2nd piano trio, it is one of my favorite chamber works of all time. Seriously! It’s a mightily impressive opus 1, with one glorious, memorable melody following after one another in such a flowing, organic manner and colored with imaginative harmonies. Andreae’s piano trios are hardly inferior to the greatest of the era (Brahms, Dvorak, Fauré, etc.) and certainly don’t deserve the almost total obscurity they’ve been left in! His two symphonies are wonderful as well.

Wunderschöne und lyrische Interpretation dieses spätromantischen und fein komponierten Trios im gut phrasierten Tempo mit klarem Klang des Klaviers, seidigem Ton der Violine und tiefem Ton des Violoncellos. Der letzte Satz klingt besonders schön und echt lyrisch. Die intime und perfekt entsprechende Miteinanderwirkung zwischen den drei Virtuosen ist wahrlich bewundernswert. Klasse!

Love this, especially the way that that French augmented sixth chord leads into a restatement of the main theme in the last movement, 24:32.
