insert wolf whistle here DAMN MAMA, YOU FINE. The Arteon Shooting Brake, that is. Talk about a good looker! The VW Arteon is back with a new face and practicality to boot. But can it really compete with the BMW 3 series and Mercedes C-Class? Let's talk about that!

Some incorrect info here, nothing about this vehicle is GTI The engine is the new EVO4 engine, it uses the full Golf R engine, turbo and running gear (just detuned) Tune it and unlock more than OEM Mk8 Golf R performance The front and rear bar is not from an R, The Genuine Arteon R gets more aggressive bars and real exhaust pipes.

Secured one of the first in Aus in oryx white and with a sunroof. Love your comment, "why would you buy an suv?". Almost spent similar on a new Kluger. Grateful that I picked up the phone to VW and stumbled upon this vehicle. I don't like the new gen E Class, C class too small, and similarly spec'd A6 and BMW 5 series wagons too pricey. Didn't realise the glovebox was cooled, going to run out to the garage and check this, 👍 After nearly 4 months of owning the only real cons imo are, the safety system slowing the car to prevent undertaking, Android auto map not available on speedo display, lack of wireless charger, and although very happy with the 206 petrol engine I'd have loved a hybrid option with comparable or better performance. Good vid!

Hi Matt (from another Mat)! Just wanted to say your reviews are amazing, you’ve got such talent and I appreciate your awesome videos. I had the old Arteon, it’s easy to release the true potential of the engine, even a simple RaceChip pulls an extra 50HP or more. I used timing gear and got a 0-100 of 4.5 seconds in the sedan person, the DSG is what really helps unleash the power. I LOVED my Arteon, I’m now in a 3.5 v6 Genesis GV70, which as you’ll probably know is another very special vehicle.

I think these run a petrol participant filter known as ppf fantastic technology adds another layer of complexity which euros are masters of.you need to use strictly premium fuel if you happen to use 91 just once it may trip it to limp mode then back to be were the repair bill will run into thousands and not covered by warranty

Love the review! Lucky you got to drive one! We've got the older model 2017 R-Line. Can't say I'm thrilled to hear the handling isn't great on this wagon. Our Arteon liftback out handles our 5 series, hands down. It also handles bumps and imperfections in the road better, as well as beating it out for how quiet the interior is and how much room there is in the back! It's a bit sad that the designers had to scavenge from the parts bin because I get into ours every day and wish they had just thrown a bit more into it. I have to say though the wagon version is easily the second best looking wagon out there!
