Today, you are on point. Not because i have a weakness for VW but you have nailed things. I like your emphasis of Preventive Maintenance (PM). For Euro vehicles, PM is imperative and you must have a knowledgeable mech.

Passat B8 from Japan seem to be more reliable than passat Singapore and in most cases they come in 1.8 tsi with dual tip exhaust while the japan model comes with a single tip with either 1.4tsi or 2.0tsi...plus singapore passat seem to have more features like a sunroof....all in all Japan's simplicity wins...keep up the good content...

Mazda 6/Atenza for me, but it should be Petrol engine. I'm not a fan of small turbo engines.. VW has the look, but as i age, reliablility ranks high.

I’ve been a VW driver for a decade but for me the Mazda wins the looks battle 😅 tu ni vile there are too many of them in Kenya so they don’t stand out. Abroad where you have many of both cars the Passat looks conservative

@@davekim2286 I think USA hutumia left hand drive configuration kwa magari, sisi hutumia right hand drive configuration, foreign used vehicles so it's impossible to import magari za USA. Pia kureview ni ngori
