What is the size of CV joint socket nut. I mean what is the size of socket to open CV AXLE

I can't actually remember I think it was a 12 point in this, there are two different types though, one with a solid head and one with a hollow head, they both have different torque settings. You don't need to remove it though if you use a split boot although I find they don't last quite as long... When I didn't have the socket with me I've ever rebuilt the inner joint without dismantling the hub etc

Hello, I am interested in what are the symptoms, what are the sounds that are heard..? I have a problem with my car, there is a scraping sound (similar to a bearing) and very small vibrations and all this only when I accelerate.. as soon as I let off the gas, nothing is heard.

It could be a driveshaft but it could also be the gearbox bearings
