How to remove, clean and replace the throttle body on a 2002 to 2009 Volkswagen Polo Mk4 (9N) 1.4 litre petrol. If the throttle body gets dirty, it can have an effect on how smoothly the engine runs. Possible symptoms include rough idling, jumpy or sluggish acceleration, poor fuel economy, and possible stalling, all when the engine is warmed up. NOTE: If you replace the throttle body with a new one, you will need to have it programmed to the car. This will likely need to be carried out by a Volkswagen dealer. Thanks for watching.
