@@anitaa.2170 What kind of serves are u doing? I mastered overhand float/topstip and jump float and i almost mastered normal jump serve. If u want to do a good float serve (easiest serve for overhand but REALLY effective) try to hit the ball a bit more upwards if u have little arm strenght or hit it almost dead center if u got alot of power in ur arms. Just respond to this if u got more questions!

@@anitaa.2170 aii, as I said it kinda depends on how much power u can produce with your arms. For technique tho you should try to keep ur hands open and flexed and hit the ball with the middle of ur hand. Toss up with ur left hand if ur right handed with ur left foot behind. Then while tossing take one step and then hit with your right hand to create more power. Proper hitting technique is explained very good in the float serve video from Elevate Yourelf (youtube channel) so check that out, he helped my out alot aswell!

i went to play for my first time and attended the practices before tryouts for my 8th grade vball team. i didn’t end up making the team or even trying out, but the coach did give me tons of compliments (and the experienced girls even said my passing was great). i owe it all to you and i’m working to practice and try out for my freshman year! thank you so much for helping me begin my journey, even if it wasn’t a straight shoot to a team! i play with my friends at school, and they’re not very experienced but i still learn valuable things from them and we all play and have fun! i’m so excited to play this summer! thank you for every tip!

Gud for u. I don't think I wanna play any sports now tbh. I can't control nothin I do w a ball... I tried basketball couldn't control it and now tried volleyball and now basically the same thing. Every time I hit the ball it doesn't go the direction I want it to and I can't control it😭

koko you have helped me so much in volleyball when i first tried out in 8th grade i never played before and i wasnt very good but because of you and other youtubers i went from not knowing how to overhand over the net to knowing how to do a jump float serve i am now a freshman in highschool and have been practicing all summer so that when tryouts come in 2 months ill be ready thank you agian and to all of you guys that are trying out to good luck and pray for me !!!

@@helenakiannejad4761 ofc! Keep your eyes on the ball and swing your arms when you jump you also wanna aim down like towards the floor do it with your own hand and stay out of your head or it will mess you up and KZfaq videos really helped to good luck and have fun 🫶

I’m very glad I was recommended this video. No joke, my coach is having my whole team practice this drill. (He’s serving at us, and we have to touch the ball three times. pass set and hit. All by ourselves) this will help a ton with my ball control.

Thank you so much coach koko😭❤ this'll really help me because ive been noticing my hands arent correct which isnt making my arms flat and stiff. Ive also noticed when i hit it its mostly on my left arm which sends it right and its so annoying. This helps so much!!! Thank you!

Thank you so much for this video bcs I made my volleyball team in my second year playing and got on the b team and not A team while some of my friends got on the A team which kinda tore me down since I’ve been practicing all summer but I don’t want to give up and this is my weakness…I am determined to be on the A team by the end of the year!!! i Hope u did well !!! i just made my school’s volleyball team last week as a sixth grader, and sixth graders usually never make it!! (we aren’t gonna talk abt the fact that on the 2nd day of tryouts i chipped my tooth while diving on my knees ANYWAYS)

I just realized... my friend and I signed up for it but we are so silly bc we are in 5th grade 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. But since we were already there, we participated anyway. But if I was in high school I would definitley make it since my teachers said so.

I see alot of people swinging they're arms upwards when passing, DONT do that. It will make the ball go behind u, try to keep ur arms as still as possible when passing cause all the other movements are just unnecessary and make it harder to make a good pass.

I used to always pass to my self but when it came to the real thing I realized playing defense was not at all my thing and I've been playing for like 3 years passing serves is near impossible for me and just a simple receive to the setter is hard for me thats why my position is right side hitter i can do everything else great except for receiving
