I have a question I need advice on how to stay behind the ball when I am hitting?

I practiced for 4 years. I hit everry ball over the net, did everythjng good and they didnt even care to look and they picked peoole who can even hit the ball over the team. I honestly give up. And its not okay..

tip for jump floats and standing floats: put your thumb back so your wrist locks that wall you’ll have a very strong hand hope this helps!

So if your foot crosses the line and nobody’s in the way you’re fine but if you get in somebody’s way and somebody standing there, then they call you for it. I know this because I play select volleyball and have to make us ref

I havnt practiced in about a month and I will be playing with seniors and people in my grade, and I’m really scared and don’t know what to expect. Any tips? I pop to go backwards before the ball comes to me so that my contact is good is that still OK or is it still a no no

1. Positive attitude (no coach likes a debby downer) 2. Always yell “mine” 3. NEVER WALK unless the coach tells u to 4. Always volunteer if coach needs a demonstrationer 5. If it’s not your first year playing don’t get cocky bc u can still not make the team 6. Also for ppl who’ve played before, give other ppl tips js don’t do too much 7. Stay humble when losing or winning a 3 on 3 or 6 on 6 8. Give it your best!! you got this

I'm starting volleyball at a club soon and I'm not as good as the girls who are currently in the club, but I really want to improve and this has really helped. Thank you!!

How can I avoid making those mistakes in volleyball? Every time I set, I find myself making errors, especially with hand flips and doubles. When I set, the ball often spins too much and veers left or right instead of going straight where I intend. Even when I get it right, I still make mistakes like carrying it for too long or it falling towards my face. I struggle with hand placement; tutorials suggest creating a triangle shape, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Additionally, I'm unsure how to properly throw the ball-I tend to throw it hard and flick it, sometimes resulting in the ball not spinning correctly.
