If there is one piece of volleyball equipment I love, it's the wall. A wall can be so helpful when practicing your volleyball either at home, at a park, or at a recreation center. There are multiple wall drills that can help you not only learn how to pass a volleyball, serve a volleyball, set a volleyball, and more. In this video, we will look at 3 volleyball drills that you can use to start learning how to practice volleyball before your volleyball tryouts come up! hi :) it's been my dream to play volleyball as a libero for a good few years now... I'm too old to play on a YMCA team, there are no volleyball nets at my local park, (and i have no friends to practice with) and my high school doesn't have a boys volleyball team. besides, I'm not nearly good enough to join a team. I asked to start a volleyball club, and I was turned down. I live in a small town, so there's not many obvious options for me. do you have any advice? I really really want to play.

Hey koko! I love your videos and I have been watching for a while but I need some advice. I’m in eighth grade and I didn’t make my team back in September. I have only gotten into volleyball 2021/22 and I am very beginner and need some more practice. I've tried these they work but I need something to get me moving and doing them in different angles and to different distances

i would say that if you want a different angle, try maybe positioning yourself in the angle you want, or hit the ball in that direction. if you want a different distance, it's mainly about how hard you hit the ball. for example, you throw the ball up, ready to serve. however, you hit the ball poorly, so it hardly makes it past the net. if you put some power into your next serve, i gaurentee it will at least make it past the net this time. i would recommend having a "routine" for your serves. most players just hit the ball on the ground a few times, spin, and then they serve. im not an expert, but these seem right so idk

Hi i started playing volleyball 3 years ago and ive tried out for all my school volleyball teams but didn’t make it but i also played with the ymca for 2 years now im going into the 9th grade ✨HIGH SCHOOL✨im going to be trying out their im extremely nervous but very confident in myself this year i live in a apartment do u have any drills i can do

I’m working on passing continuously with a wall but the ball keeps going to the left and even though I’m trying to pass it to the wall I just some how end up passing higher and higher like I’m passing it to myself and I was wondering if anyone has any tips that might help me? I think this is just something that I have to just keep doing until I’m better but I just thought I would see if anyone has any tips

Hey! i’m not the most experienced but i think i can help, i think it mainly has to do with your platform. ur ball might keep going to the left when receiving bc your platform might be angled toward the left and/or when receiving your ball from the wall it might keep landing on your left hand. for that you can change your stance so that when receiving the ball, you make sure it is completely angled toward you. for your ball going higher and higher, you might be pushing your arms higher and higher and/or not moving your entire body to revive in order to recive the ball in desperation to get it up. instead of maybe moving only your arms, try moving your entire body to recive the ball. if your trying out for a team good luck!

Beginners: Highly recommend finding videos that demonstrate proper form. Arm swing motion & hand release is not fundamental and can mess up your arm and just not helping you develop properly.
