Just so everyone knows. PH team is young. (Literally just 4 months old) and most are collegiate students. It’s a newly acquired team and is intended to be retained permanently unlike before, where the selection committee just randomly picks players from commercial teams every time theres a new pro league like SEA games and the like. So as a fellow filipino, I did not expect them to even win a set BUT im soo proud on what they have achieved. ❤ Soon, we hope the UAAP towers Alyssa Solomon and Shevana Laput would join so that theres additional fire power and height. BTW, congrats to Vietnam for winning! Cheers!

@@marcjoshuasolloso3371it is a good fight, you know why? because volleyball team in the ph are just new, so they have only months of preparation together because they're still new to each other, they're still building their connection as a team, and despite of having a short preparation, they still fought and showed that they can be dangerous in the future, take note they're a new team in the ph, with enough preparation they can be a powerhouse in the future, it was a good fight because the score is not far like in 2nd and 3rd set

It's funny how some people are mean, they don't have intelligence. It's normal to suspect that Vietnam's number 10 is a man. Use your brain to analyze: This is FIVB, not a normal tournament. So cheating is unfounded, you think you're the only one who sees that she looks like a man and we don't. Sometimes your words hurt players. You should know that in order to appear in a national team's squad, they allow gender fraud to appear. You are saying number 10 is unfair, have you been fair to her yet? If FIVB wants to preserve its reputation as a respectable organisation and the integrity of volleyball, the question about the gender of one of the Vietnamese players needs to be addressed. Volleyball fans are now beginning to think that FIVB is deliberately turning a blind eye for the sake of expanding the market in South East Asia, which would be understandable. It would not be fair for the other teams who lost their world ranking points. They should make a formal complaint to FIVB. I don't think we will see this player in a well-known international volleyball tournament. They might be part of the team until the team gains enough points to qualify for the VNL tournament or the Volleyball World Championship. Many people will keep questioning the legitimacy of the Vietnamese team if it is not ready to be transparent. In a certain way, it may reflect upon the psyche of the nation. One of the Vietnamese U-20 female volleyball players is also very questionable. However you look at it, this person looks noticeably different, gender wise. We are beginning to see a pattern.

Both teams played exceptionally well. However, it's disheartening to see the comment section filled with insults and body shaming directed at Tuyen. To those criticizing Tuyen's physique and appearance: it is common for female athletes to have different body types than what some consider 'feminine.' This does not give anyone the right to question their femininity or womanhood. Respect our athletes for their talent and dedication. And if you still don’t accept this, then educate yourself.

Develop this young Alas Philippine Team. Galanza out, De Guzman very predictable setting this game, Belen attacking Libero, great for OH2. Nunag back as MB and develop great wall of PH along with Palomata, Gagate, and Sharma! Canino and Rondina consistent.

Predictable setting due to bad reception from Macandili. Such a shame for Cherry Tiggo to not lend Nierva for this tournament, the team really felt her absence during this match. The coaching staff also made questionable in game adjustments and decisions. We could only hope that they will improve all of these with more training and preparation. I hope we could see a better and improved team in the upcoming SEA VLeague. Laban Alas!
