Voltes V was the first anime I watched and enjoyed in my entire life, when the tokusatsu series were at the height of popularity in the late 80s and early 90s in Brazil. However, only a compilation of episodes was shown in that country. I am happy to finally be able to watch Voltes V in a full and official way.

The thing I really like is the song when combining never gets dull. I heard tons of them when I see the show and it never gets old

My first mecha anime. Voltes V was a huge hit in Cuba. Unfortunately the series was never played, only the movies edition was shown. Nevertheless an entire generation was deeply affected and influenced by Voltes V. A big fan base still thrives in the island and in Miami.

Hiks, mata saya sembap nonton ini... Film2 jaman saya SD dan masih rental kaset video... Selalu nonton di rumah sodara yg punya playernya... Klo nonton pasti rame2... Klo lagi ngobrol2 di sekolah pasti nanyanya "eh lo udah tamat belum nonton film anu", sampe2 temen saya ada yg jago banget niruin gaya Goggle Blue klo mau 'jadi'. Pulang sekolah jalan kaki kadang mampir ke rental cuman liat2 doang (mana punya duit buat nyewa). Klo main sore2 bareng temen2 pasti pinginnya jadi Goggle Red, yg cewek jadi Google Pink... Buku gambar isinya gambar Voltus V, Megaloman, God Sigma, mobil yang bisa terbang warna merah itu apa lupa nama filmnya yg pintunya dibuka keatas, Dakocan, dll... Saya sekarang 46... Salam nostalgia buat teman2 seangkatan 😁😁

Good thing TOEI uploaded the original Japanese version of Voltes V on KZfaq. As a 90's kid, I already watched the English and Tagalog Dubbed of this series but not the original version. Hope that more episodes to come. ;-)

The memories from this anime back when I was a kid in the early 80s...it was on video cassette tape. i remember watching this where my friends from the same neighborhood would gather every Friday after class and my mom would let us watch 1 video tape...this is also the cause I prefer Super Robot to Real Robot in Super Robot Taisen
