Volvo 940 - A Good Clean & Some Limo Tints!

Hey!
I took Regi (the 940) to prideandperformance.co.uk Pride & Performance in Preston for;
A full detail prep & decontamination, 2 stage machine polish, wax & a light interior valet. It was so good to see that Purple pop! :D Obviously there are some bits of paint beyond repair but for a 22 year old, he sure did look lovely!
Then I got my windows tinted at Luna Window Tinting in Eccles.
www.lunawindowtinting.co.uk I went for the darkest tint available.
Wheels in the next video hopefully!

Love the Volvo estates, my Dad had a Volvo 145 estate, me and my two brothers used to sleep in the back with seats down , so much room . Auto transmission too. Built like tanks. Love what your doing to your Volvo , looks spot on .

if you still need a cup holder, pop one of those cheap halfords ones with a hook made for going in over your doorcard onto the glovebox door. works a treat in mine and costs like £4 tops

Great to see an older car being enjoyed and modified by the owner and keep the tow bar,, if someone rear ends your car theirs gets a good bash,, from Belfast good job ☘️☘️☘️

Still getting use to you not having a bike but when it comes to a classic car and you with great ideas, it doesn't matter. As I remember the Volvo 940 were well made, police used them not only for the speed/quick pick-up but how robust they were. It's not everyone's cuppa tea but it's not their car. Your gonna have ya new baby looking mint. Love the colour, the limo tint windows. The wheels whichever you choose will make it stand out even more. Cannot wait to see what you do next. 💜

I've not long picked up a 1997 940 LPT Celebration. Those tints look really good. I will be looking into this once I've sorted the bloody boost controller out lol. I've removed some crap wind deflectors and am currently tidying it up.

Great colour ! As for 940 cupholders, you can get (from the breakers) an armrest with 4 cupholders... 2 for the front, 2 for the passengers behind.

You can get pull out cup holders that fit on the central box. I think they were a Volvo accessory. Well... when I say you can get them... A scrapper might have one.

I have the same limo tint on my 940 wagon...it's great for keeping the heat down on a hot day....but it does make reversing down a dark lane at 5am in the winter gloom a bit difficult

Looks Awesome with Black out 🖤 Windows. Upgraded exhaust system nice. Keep tow bar. Helpful if some body as bad parking skills bag in back your they do more Damage to there car then you're stop them for bagging your back bumper up.. Looking sweet! Looking forward to some more Videos. X

Love that colour... That's a mint 940. Have you looked at Ocean mk18 deep dish 5 spokes? I almost bought a 760 same as yours which had jaguar xjsport alloys. They look sick

Looked like new 😎 you're as bad as me at preparing for videos, but still make better ones 😂 keep going. IDK if they'd work on the Volvo, or if they'd even be available now (lots of copies everywhere since), but imo the best 90's wheels were the TSW Venom's. Love the new look BTW, so adorable, could watch you all day and have a big smile, thanks for cheering me up on a miserable day.

Have I said this before. Anyway, a mate of mine liked two designs of wheel. He couldn’t make his mind up so he bought both, put two on one side and two the other. You can only see one side at a time, so no problem.

Have a look at getting pcd adapters to change your bolt pattern as that will give you a lot more options for wheels. I use 5x120 adapters and run staggered style 66 wheels which look pretty good and fill the arches just right but I wish I went for 5x114.3 as that would of given me a lot more wheel options. Trying to find good wheels in 5x108 are a pain in the arse

Didn't you say you were gonna use this to transport the bike? lowering it make it difficult to get around in slightly wooded/lightly offroad places where you will likely take it for nature trails etc?

Slam it and have you thought about baging it then you have a choice in ride hight and fitment industries has a videos on KZfaq on finding the correct wheel fitment width offset and backspacing and how to go about measuring it help me out with my 63c10 build.

@@PistonHeadChaz yea I might of been tempted at half that but it's a bit much for me. £2.5k gets you a really nice 95 aero wagon with 250hp. Probably be a lot better in a crash too. Awsome channel. You sound like your from the north east my bro inlaw stays just outside gateshead. I'm thinking of getting into bike as I live on the nc 500

Why don't you buy a cycle holder for the tow bar, that way you won't mess the interior and you will make use of the tow bar? By the way great to see you on the tube, take care and stay safe (Covid19) . Paul (Leeds)

Well my brother already has one for his car so I can use it if I need to but its just easier to throw the bike in the back. I'm going to make sure there's always something down (a thick blanket) in the back before I put the bike in to avoid it getting damaged or dirty.

Definitely lose the tow bar, unless you're gonna make use of it and maybe you could get a dual exhaust eventually. Love the symmetrical look with exhaust tips.
