This 1999 Volvo S80 had an ABS pump motor fault. It was cured by repairing the module. It can give various faults so first it needs to be diagnosed. This repair works for 850/S/V70 -2000 and S80 -2000. If this is the first time you hold the soldering iron then it could get bit tricky and you might ask someone to do the job.

@@HeapsofProjects thanks I have the traction light on and the speedo isn't working are these related to the module you think ? I have the same error code as yours

I have the 0070 code on an 05 v70.Works for a while when i clean the contacts,then its back again.Might it be this problem?

More likely is the problem in the pump motor. You can get another pump unit and just swap over the actual motor (black round thing).

@@HeapsofProjects Thx for answering :) It seems to work when cold after i clean/wiggle the contacts.Then when it gets warm it stops working.
