i had one of these as a hire car in Sweden, it was absolutely brilliant, the comfort is amazing, the ride was brilliant, but then, the Swedish roads are very good, i just wish i had it for longer so i could've figured out all the brilliant gadgets and gizmo's.

I got 2015 upgrade version of v40 redesign and ned to says its brilliant car!! Never regret ! One of my best choice I ever did when choosing my car!

He says it has the D5 engine at 3:37 then at 5:20 we can clearly see it has D4 on?....

My only problem is, on screen is not in English, can that be changed

Try not sitting on the bonnet or standing in front of the car at the beginning so we can have a clear good look on the front design while you introduce the car. Also sound level from microphone seems to be very low while reviewer in the car, making it hard to listen to but then booming loud when reviewer is doing a walkaround. Try to make it consistent sound level and reduce the volume of any background music which can be too loud in some segments of the video.

I have one of these and a 08 ford focus the quality on the volvo far superior .however the handling on the volvo doesn't come close to the focus.for looks the volvo wins for fun the focus..

I am a Volvo man! And my New girlfriend ha a 2013 Toyota Yaris hybrid. A realy bad car in all way! I faund a 2013 Volvo V40 D2. I was a little skeptical to the D2 engine (PSA) But I Just fall in love with V40!!

Boot capacity is 335ltrs (according to volvo website) so not class leading at all, quite the opposite. Not enjoying the recent reviews, no charisma! :(

Just another Ford. Ford Focus underneath and its a boring diesel. I hate diesels. I have a 1970 Volvo 164 and a 1984 Volvo 340DL and I would rather push my 340 than drive this V40 crap.

Crap? You cant compare the V40 with the Focus. The Focus dont have the advanced tech and are full of cheap plastic materials... Same platform yes but soooo different....
