If you want to take the "Quest Vision Pro" theme a bit farther, you should check out the Vision Pro adapter arms for Quest 3. 3D printed allows you to use the Vision Pro headbands on the Quest 3

Thanks . The reason i got my iphone 15 pro was for spatial video with my quest 3 … and also since i can sell my iphone later for more than i paid for .. but anyway main reason was for the spatial videos .. i just recorded a few videos at the parc with the kids - will see how it looks

Nice video, and I'v upgraded to the v62 beta, but there is no "spatial video" in the file app. What do I need to do or activate something to display it?

I might be wrong, but might need that you do something in the meta app on your iphone to allow it to put them in the quest. There will probably come someone that do a tutorial on that that have IUphone, but I would guess that is how it works if it has released. IDK :)

It's not a fix. Meta has been rolling out updates like this since forever ago. That's why when they announce it they say "coming the week of" They roll out features in waves to groups over a 2 week period.@@Mrblobbster

Slowly but surely the Spatial iPhone videos are also finding their way to youtube, you can watch a bunch of them there as well. Sadly the IPD of the iPhone's lenses is too small for a really convincing 3d effect, but hey, it's something.

The extreme parallax between the foreground/background of so-called "spatial videos" in the Apple ads is blatant false advertising. Instead of what is depicted in the ads, the "spatial video" actually produced by the AVP is normal 3D video with a blurry frame-artifact surrounding it, and the only parallax is a false one between the dreamy portal frame and the image. Somehow I had the impression that this annoying blurry format of spatial videos is intended to mitigate the 3D depth so that Apple's hyper-sensetive customers don't suffer motion-sickness and throw up in their ridiculously overpriced headset. The AVP and the iPhone 15 Pro attempt to produce the same dreamy-framed format, but the iPhone has less depth because the lenses are so close together. Can you turn off the blurry frame . . . or maybe customize it it to be flowers or somesuch? The only benefit of Apple coining the term "spatial video" is to popularize the idea of saving and methods for viewing the same standard 3D photos/videos that have existed for many years. Many of us have routinely used the Quest Skybox app for years to view 3D videos (without the blurry border). I think the blurry frame detracts from the otherwise crisp normal 3D video, but I am amazed at how impressed some users and even reviewers are, with the blurry frame magically conferring some mystical "memory" significance on a common file format that they hadn't been using. Serious Apple cult manifestations!

@@Leed831100 no, but there are plenty of meta fanatic there who think the quest 3 can become somehow as good as the Vision Pro in every aspect. And videos titles like that makes them believe in more and more. Just supporting a video format has nothing to do with the quest becoming a Vision Pro. Not even remotely close to.
