This update is so awesome! It is nice being able to have 2 mics on one cab, which opens up even more sounds. Nice tone btw.

I know! I did some recording for upcoming demo today and ended up using the dual SM57 setup I demonstrated here. The lone SM57 sounds so weak an lifeless after getting used to two microphones. :D

Thanks! Torpedo CAB M is pretty affordable to get into this game. Though if you want to attenuate the amp then you need a bit more. I think the cheapest way to do that is either Torpedo Reload or Captor + CAB M. :)

I’ve been using matched amp models on the pod hd to use dual different mics but very limited placement options so maybe before the New Years ... but I’ll probably use my gas money to repair my super twin reverb amp it’s been dead to long 😞 120 watts from 6 6L6’s 🤘🏽

How do you controll 2 sm57 ?? There's only axis and distance knob? Were is the center knob that controlls the mic to center to cone??? Help pleaseee

Nice rock sound that Revv 4x12 closed back, What other cabs do you use for rock from two notes? Too many to choose from:)

Thanks! Right now I’ve just been playing Revv stuff. I’ve hear a lot of good things about the Celestion package they have, I might have to check it out :)

Haha good point. I guess I want to emphasise that my studio is at home and that anybody could build something like this. On the other hand "welcome to my studio" sounds way cooler, I might have to switch to that. And yeah, since I switched to shooting 4k no amount of storage space is enough.

I downloaded and installed it but when I open it the old version shows up??

At least on my Mac I need to open it up separately. Make sure you are opening the version 5. I think issue will be fixed once the official version is released.

Can you play the Remote as a standalone or open it as a vst in a DAW? If so how? Because when I open it in a standalone mode I dont get any sound out of it while in the DAW only the wall of sound appears. Thanks!

You can load up the WoS in DAW as a plugin, that's probably the easiest way to do it. Hope this helps.

@@CatPickStudios thanks for your answer but in this particular case i would like to know how you have your Torpedo studio connected via usb with the laptop and having sound from the remote whether being in a standalone mode or in a DAW. The WoS makes more sense to me when i process a dry amp signal post rec because while tracking can cause latency.

@@soundsofthenewberlin Well the setup is pretty simple, I go from amp's speaker output to Torpedo Live and from Torpedo Live line out I go to my audio interface. All of the cab simulation is happening in the Torpedo Live, I just control the WoS software on it via USB. :)
