Vortex is a KMG Afterburner that opened in 2001 and is currently located in the Lost City area of Thorpe Park.
Guests must be at least 1.4 meters to ride.

hi Planit Park wow that is one epic video of the vortex from thorpe park it is one masive afterburner i love how Thorpe park as theme tunes for their rides as i told you once that i can make models of rides out of paper and card i built six of thorpe parks flat rides and sent them a pic of them they loved them saying that i was talented i did the same to a place called Adventure island i had a awsome reply of them they loved the pics and asked me if they could use them in their socail media forums they even sent me two wristband vouchers if i cant use them this year i can use them next year

Yeah it's a pretty good ride, we can't decide if we prefer the seats inwards like on this ride or facing outwards like the new Cyclonator at Paultons Park. To be honest, we would be happy riding either

@@PlanItPark i went to paultons like 3 weeks ago and im going thorpe park in a few days and im excited to see if i prefer facing out or inwards, i think id prefer outwards tho
