@@Capitan_Captain No, it's not that necessarily, he disliked it because of how brutish it seemed, but his staffers knew it would appeal to his base. Ultimately, it was a matter of presentation, not caving on policy, so he did it despite his reluctancy

If you read the messages on his laptop during the dream on quest it seems like at first he hated the idea but the next day he approved the ad and was fine with it

Peralez fated to be the mayor as the election likely also being manipulated with Weldon Holt simply not so popular among populace. The differences here are the end credits scenes of Peralez being stone cold mayor or him being calling V for some help & investigate the whole thing on his own.

I told him all the truth, Elizabeth then blocked V's contact, and after Arasaka Parade chapter, the radio told that Holt won, even though TV previously told Perales was ahead with 70% approval.

@@nkosig4995 One mission you get to have a barbecue party with 6th Street. You do a bs shooting competition to get an iconic smart rifle, and they try to recruit you after winning and are ok with you if you refuse.

@@nkosig4995 Dunno if being a Street Kid or Desert Punk makes a difference, chose the Corpo path to see if game has Charisma playstyles, but you don't get an option to join even when offered. 6th Street is a gang made up of veterans, "nationalistic" without the white supremacist angle, they take in anyone long as they answer the "DO YOU LOVE THE NUSA?" question right. I think they parody the proud boys, "boogaloo" boys, and Oath Keepers over real gangs.

@@martint5340 If you observe him just a little bit you can see that he changes throughout his questline. He was steady, calm and friendly the entire time. But in the final 2 quests he is arrogant, unfriendly and is insulting people.
