Right so this is why the Doctor Who logo was used instead of Gallifrey text, each Doctor had their number in Gallifrian, idk if that's how it's spelt but fuck it. The War Doctor, technically doesn't have a number, so he's given a logo instead

Great review! However I take some issue with the “in scale” claim. He is just too darn tall. He should be on the same body as the Hartnell figure. C’est la vie.

I feel that this figure has one of the best face sculpts out of all the Big Chief Studios' figures. I recall; in the comments of your 9th Doctor figure review, I called the figure's face sculpt resembling that of an "old Bear Grylls" and I still stand by that opinion. But I digress. This figure's sculpt is on par with that of the 11th and 12th doctor figures. The only complaint I can give this one is that the head seems a little too big, but maybe that's just a video issue. Maybe it looks different in real life. I always love how thorough you are with your reviews. It really does sound like you pour heart out in your narrations. Bravo, Stephen. Bravo.

I love this figure! I love how it shows the transfer from 8th, war to 9th and if you look at the molding on the back of the head it looks like the crack in the universe. Awesome review hope you review the 4th Doctor next.😄👍🏻

The amount of detail in the headsculpt is amazing but somehow it just doesn't look like John Hurt to me. In fact I'd go so far as to say that CO got a better likeness in their £20, 5.5" figure than Big Chief managed in their £200 12" one.

The scale of these figures seems off. Eccleston is 3 inches taller than Hurt, and Baker is 5 inches taller, yet the War Doctor is the tallest figure...

I personally think that the jacket on this figure is terrible. It looks way to much like the 9th Doctor jacket. Evan though it was brown and battered in Day of the Doctor.

They’re getting better at doing likenesses.

The BBC just doesn't have anything confidence in it shows anymore like Doctor Who and Robot Wars that's why we get hardly any merchandise anymore

Headsculpt - bloody amazing. Rest of the figure - meh. The coat is awful, it should be distressed and have brown colouring. Also missing the water canteen in pouch which he had on his belt (visible in one TARDIS scene)

I hate the Big Chief figures. They remind me of the god awful figures from the 80s... clothes that are far too baggy and the wrong shades on the clothing. Don't get me wrong, the face is great but tbh... meh. Not great.
