Saudi Arabia and the US have a partnership that's been in the making for over seven decades. It started after World War II and survived the Iranian Revolution, the Cold War, the Gulf War, September 11, and the proliferation of conflicts across the Middle East. This whole time, the US has been selling weapons to Saudi Arabia -- now its number one customer. Saudis bought bombs, tanks, guns, and planes over the years to defend themselves from various threats. The US supplied those weapons because the Saudi’s threats have usually been a threat to the US as well.
Today, there's a shift in the relationship. Saudi Arabia’s intervention in Yemen has created the worst humanitarian disaster in the world - and thrown the Middle East into chaos. The problem is, the Saudis are using US bombs to do it.

‼️❌ Let’s be realistic without Saudi Arabia the Middle East will be more insanely chaotic than what already insane it is, you always criticize KSA yet ignore how important it is to the region and global politics and economics, at least Saudi don’t try to colonize the region like what Iran trying to do and done in some parts actually!‼️💔💔 Also about war crimes .. have we forgotten the horrific crimes in Abu ghuraib ? Look who’s judging here very sad yet ironically funny, as The Arabian prover says ; “he kills the victim and came to his funeral” you cause wars to benefit from then come and criticize the countries which trying to stay safe as any other country in the world no one wants wars Unless those who are selling weapons!

If you look at where America gets its oil, the number one place is...the US. Second is Canada and third flips each year between Venezuela and Saudi Arabia. And only 7% of the oil is coming from the Middle East, most of which is coming from Saudi Arabia. I was stationed in the Middle East I saw convoys of oil being IMPORTED into Iraq to sustain the army there and empty trucks would return. If the goal was to maximize oil supplies it would be cheaper to have no army there. One M1 Abrams tank gets 2 gallons per mile. It’s fun to believe in conspiracy theories but these stories are getting American soldiers killed in the Middle East

That counter argument is really deceptive. Yes, the country supplies itself, but the companies that extract the oil and sell it around the globe have massive facilities in the middle east. I’m really surprised they didn’t mention the petrodollar. That the US struck a deal with Saudi Arabia to only sell oil in US dollars, which basically forces every country to buy US first in order to buy oil. This props up the US dollar value and that’s why it’s the world reserve currency and has just kept rising in value despite the national debt and the feds nonstop printing.

@@mattiamantovani5475 Yep, even if it were say.. 3 people on the team that produced the video, in one week you’re looking at 120 hours worth of labor without overtime. In my experience as an editor a 40 week is the exception, not the rule. Especially when there’s a deadline. This is on top of all the research done beforehand to create the article. 60-120 minute documentaries take months or in some cases years to complete. As awesome as the longer format is, it locks down resources which prevent them from being current to the news cycle and you’re not gonna have a successful KZfaq presence with releasing a video every 3-6 months. Serialized segments could be the way to go. This could have been a 3 hour video and there’d still be people in the comments about how insufficient it is. Almost like people might have to do some research for themselves because of the complexities and nuance involved. 🥴

The US government supported many garbage regimes throughout the years, but they were also responsible for setting up many success stories around the world. The defense of Europe, South Korea, and the reconstruction of Japan. What has the Soviet Union brought that was not tyranny? Most former Eastern bloc states today have horrible relations with the Russians. You know the Russians are not winning the influence game when even Ukraine is drifting away from them.

Saudi follows the sharia law {you said they dont, therefore proving you dont even know what you are talking about} and according to the sharia law Muslims are to live with ppl of different religions in harmony. Its true Muslims are not allowed to denounce their religions, because back in the religious war times; that was used as a tactic to manipulate ppl into converting. And no, Saudi does not treat ppl of different religions as slaves as written in the sharia law its not allowed, and in our modern days, human rights exist in shorts what you are saying is not true and if so i would like citations. I am not saying Saudis are perfect and i am not denying facts here; what some of what you're saying are lies, and some other stuff nowadays are taken completely out of context.

And what has the Soviet Union brought the world since the end of WW2? The US government supported many garbage regimes through the year, but they were also responsible for setting up many success stories around the world. The defense of Europe, South Korea, and the reconstruction of Japan. What has the Soviet Union brought that was not tyranny? Most former Eastern bloc states today have horrible relations with the Russians. You know the Russians are not winning the influence game when even Ukraine is drifting away from them.

The thing is. The US doesn’t want a stable and democratic Middle East, as they would not be able to offer benefits of protection in stable regions. In collaboration with Israel, the US has tried to keep the region perpetually unstable, with their allies, whoever they might be (now, it’s Saudi Arabia, but at one point the US even rooted for Saddam Hussein) somewhat out of the commotion or actively fueling the conflicts even further with grave power imbalances. This is the problem that needs to be addressed.

@C caymer who are you referring to when you're talking about 'you Muslims'? While obviously very wrongly and shortsightedly, China has been doing this for not such a long time yet, and is already facing grave criticism. Meanwhile, the US and US-led coalitions have killed large numbers of innocents over the past several decades to further not their homeland security, but their economic interests. It's only logical that some Muslims feel an aversion towards the groups that have put them in perpetual danger for at least the last half century.

@Colonel Forbin If you go back far enough, then yes, most of it is caused by the British. However, the illusion that Israel is not at fault for any of this, is utter nonsense. Arabs can hold states for themselves and have done so very successfully in the past, which is why wealths of knowledge came from specifically that region during the period between 900 and 1500 AD. Don't overgeneralize here, as that just weakens your point. I don't hate jews and I don't blame them, or any other religious group for that matter, for anything. It's bad and inhumane policy that is to blame here, and that's just the thing Israel and the US have been exercising in the Middle East.
