you are absolutely right my friend and the damage model on russian tanks in RNG as well, since you have no ammo detonations and the shells disappear when you hit the breach or drivers port

Judging from this video those vehicles don't even need era because they will fail to spall or overpressure half the time even on a perfect shot

Same thing happens with NATO tanks due to the excessive amounts of composite armor, at this BR weakspots are the key no matter the nation.

@@corp-_-3853 it is how it is, stock HEAT is the pain phase, thatswhy i just spend a few GE on the basic APFSDS as he in the video should have done from the beginning instead of some camo, i dont have the patience for those shenanigans of stock tanks anymore.

The T72B3M has contact 5 ERA on the sides too in those ERA bags, they dont just counteract by explosion but the metal inserts also cut the APFSDS round in half at an angle wich means your round tumbles sideways in two pieces against the armor beneath it, the best spot to hit from the side ist the upper hull right above the ERA blocks...

@@marcinkaczmarczyk4224 i grinded almost every nation to top tier (except japan, sweden & italy) when playing russia at 10-ish BR you get zerg rushed by PzBtl 123 leos and at 11ish the Merkavas are just unkillable with their APS & janky armor and the Leopard 2A6 has an indistructible turret, playing as germany...well you get the worst teammates in average and get zerg rushed by T72turms one-vehicle newbs that cant hit anything but they never come alone, as britain i had a balanced top tier experience but the grind up until high BR is almost as bad as Japan with all the bad AP shells and as US i had pretty mixed experiences, but yeah when i die its due to a T80 or KA50 but if you keep your distance hull down your turret is almost godlike. I think ppl subjectively think there is a russian bias but in my experience every nation suffers at high BR.

Balance, the only tanks that can have armor are russians. Ahh i wish this game was better, for example steel beasts knows how armor on modern MBTs should work, and its a Simulator. And WT... Well its more arcade poo than WOT or AW. Smaller maps, funny 3D unrealistc markers on " realistic" modes and more...

I love dipping back into low tier, but only around 6.0, everything under that BR makes me feel bad, especially around 1.0, i mean 14kills in average is funny but still, don't wanna frustrate the newbies before they reach high tier or buy a premium😅

Indeed but this guy just throws GE at the game he has rush ground his way to the top tier hence his very low level crews. and little skill when it comes to aiming and ammo knowledge. Content creators like this are very bad for the game because new players see it and replicate their ways. I see it first hand daily i run a squadron in war thunder every new player we get we have to undo this mentality and it gets very draining. been playing this game for over a decade now. And the amount of people rushing through the game and not playing it through. And learning core skills just cos they want jets and mbt's because they think cos they have them makes them a good player is staggering. this guy is making content for entertainment has has very little idea about the game as he has just thrown money at it to get top lvl stuff

ya and if you are new to the game they nerfed the NATO heat round as well from 650mm pen to 480 lol like how do you go from 105mm gun that has 400mm pen with heat to a much larger 120mm HEAT warhead with only 80mm more pen? that's a waste of R&D money

Its not a western tank problem, because just as much as ERA messes up HEAT, the western tanks with their 75 tons of composite armor do the same, you will have to aim for dodgy weakspots no matter the nation. Or just buy APFSDS for a few GE instead of a skin like this guy did😂
