I think one key piece of technology holding back many of our mobile and portable devices is battery. I think battery technology really needs to improve and advance because it’s looking like it is not catching up to our ever increasing mobile power and duration needs.

I had one for some time now, and it's really amazing. I would recommend it to everybody. I just ordered a 3D camera to finally start creating family pictures in 3D as well.

They need to release two bluetooth controllers and lower the resolution so they can have 90hz.

Despite the high price, would you suggest this product for 360 video viewing or would you suggest a completely different vr headset, for 360 videos? No vr gaming for me.

Good summary

What I want: A simple good quality headset that I can use exactly like my Samsung TV - search on KZfaq or use any other device as a source with the "send to" option and the headset will take on from there. All that for a reasonable price. What producers create: A complicated poor or just mediocre quality headset that uses a completely new to anyone system which occasionally changes after updates (or doesn't work properly) that has zero capabilty to act as "another" screen that you can connect to from another device. Some are incompatible with one or the other OS, some are lacking features others have (but they again too lack in features others have) or have features nobody asked for and barely uses. All that for a ridiculous price that once it gets out of trend (usually 2 years or less) nobody will buy from you 2nd hand so you are pretty much stuck a 100% in it with your money. We have technology, we have the power to make it happen. We just lack the will of producers to do it. Until then I am not buying any VR headset as the Google cardbox for 2 dollars is still the best VR deal so far. Because for that little money you simply can't get disappointed.
