KatakiDoragon Just because she was unrefined doesn't mean a skill with shatterpoint was existent. The fact she could see dozens of outcomes in a fight, or the matrix of probabilities indicates her ablity with shatterpoint. Whether she was proficient with it or not is another question.

ok, dream fight scenario...darth zannah with a more beefed up offense, including power techniques. asajj ventress with full sith training as zannah recieved. yeah, pretty epic. also, to recall an earlier video, darth talon with positve self-esteem like a girl who gets into strength training. a truly epic chick fight to end them all.

Did you ever read the old republic book about Reven? If so, I have a question for you, I can remember the siths name, but he was the one who was torturing reven and he was of the Sith breed as well. At the end of the book reven talked the Sith into helping him and when it came down to it, the Sith betrayed reven to the emporer because he realized that reven wasn't the person he thought was going to bring the emperor down. The emperor gave the Sith everlasting life and I was curious if you know what happened to that character? I thought he was a great character in the book and I liked his conflict throughout the book. So I wanted to ask if you think Zannah would have a chance to beat Dooku or if Dooku's extended knowledge of the "basic" force powers (TK, Force Lightning etc.) would be too much for Zannah. I am not saying she is really lacking in that area (except for lightning since she hasn't been shown to use it) but Dooku's skills are more refined as much as I know.

The article came after the comic was released. And I do not think it was an exaggerated quote. If you look at the panels of the fight Ventress definitely taxes Mace Windu.

In defense of Zannah's prison fight, while Zannah had a very poor showing there, Bane noted he was not going to win that fight. He knew he was only delaying the inevitable, and while Zannah was wary of Bane, Bane was even asking himself how much longer he'd be able to survive. Bane ran from that fight because he knew he would have eventually lost. Calling it a stomp is a huge exaggeration. Also, Ahsoka would be slaughtered by Zannah. She has no real defensive skills with which to ward away Zannah's counterattacks, she is drastically outskilled (Ahsoka has an adept duelist, but was overwhelmed anytime she was confronted by a master duelist, and could barely hold her own), and both Zannah's telekinetic power and Sith Sorceries would be far too much. Resisting Zannah's illusions takes three parts: An awareness that you are being beset by an illusion and that your demons are not real, having conquered those fears, and having a will equal to or stronger than that of the caster. And I would highly doubt Ahsoka would have the strength of will to break through Zannah's illusions when Darth frigging Bane barely managed to accomplish it. Ahsoka's got no real feats of willpower that would suggest she's any less susceptible to Zannah's illusions than Xaj or Harth, even if she did figure out she was under a spell, before Zannah skewered her.

you severely underrate ashoka tano, she avoided being subdued by both obi wan and anakin for 7 minuites, she beat a knight who held her own with an angry skywalker(someone who gets amped while pissed) despite having to go out of her way to not kill her, saying she was merely adept is lowbaling her. I don't think you understand how zannah's sorcery works, it works by feeding on an enemy's worst fears. Against someone like Anakin, it would be super effective as he shas some really big fears which he hasn't faced yet, against shola though it wouldn't effect her as she has already faced her greatest fear and dealt with it. Also ashoka certainly has the willpower needed to overcome illusions, she's kept a coolhead while being abandoned by her order, been kidnapped and used as a hunting target, what makes you think she doesn't have the willpower needed to fight zannah. When it comes to force use in combat, zannah's telekenisis is stronger than ashoka's, but ashoka's force augumentation is stronger than zannah's as zannah only augments her speed and agility, not her strength or endurance. Also ashoka physically outclasses zannah. She is far stronger having been able to free herself from general greviou's grip, just as fast and has far more endurance. also she has the advantage of all togrutas with increased situational awareness, i think ashoka tano is capable of beating zannah.

Ahsoka has held herself WELL against opponents much stronger than her, but she has never been on the winning end of such engagements. Against Grievous in their first duel she was beaten in two blows, in their second she was barely able to survive long enough to escape. Against Ventress she needed Luminaya at her back to keep her alive, otherwise she would have been beaten rather quickly. "Also ashoka certainly has the willpower needed to overcome illusions, she's kept a coolhead while being abandoned by her order, been kidnapped and used as a hunting target, what makes you think she doesn't have the willpower needed to fight zannah." The fact that Zannah nearly overwhelmed Bane with her illusions-- Bane who had been preparing to defend against Zannah's illusions for years and was still nearly overwhelmed by them. Ahsoka has never been trained to drive off a mental assault like Zannah's. Set Harth and Sarro Xaj couldn't do it, and Xaj in particular was far more powerful than Ahsoka, considering he was a Jedi Battlemaster. What makes Ahsoka any stronger than Xaj? Ahsoka cannot punch through Zannah's guard. She is NOT a master lightsaber duelist, by any stretch. She can contend with masters, but she herself is not a master. I mean. Hell, she's a frigging Padawan. She can't beat Zannah in a lightsaber duel due to Zannah's impenetrable defense and a skill at counterattacks that made even a Jedi Battlemaster hesitate, she has shown nothing that would indicate she could resist Zannah's illusions, and Zannah even outclasses her with Telekinesis as well. Ahsoka Tano couldn't even defeat Xanatos in these vs videos, and Zannah makes Xanatos look like a child.

Also set harth was not a trained force user which is why he couldn't resist her sorcery. Bane also had never had faced any of his greatest fears prior. Also beating a jedi master at that time( which was mostly because of bane) is less impressive than beating the top knights of this era as this was the order's prime

His former master considered Set Harth the most dangerous being in the entire Galaxy (albeit largely because he did not know that the Sith had survived, but that was still essentially saying Set was the most dangerous non-Sith in the entire Galaxy). Also Zannah kept up with a Battle Meditated Battlemaster. Tano's got nothing compared to that. This was the Order's prime but that does not mean that immense skill then did not translate into immense skill in the Clone Wars era. Individuals like Farfalla, Raskta and Xaj would still have been regarded as powerful individuals even in the Clone Wars era. Maybe a step down from where they were heralded, but still extremely formidable. She overpowered ONE of Grievous's hands, not both of them, and she was still losing that battle. As for Asajj Ventress.... no. She was getting owned. The fact that her and Luminaya COMBINED were getting defeated by Ventress is pretty much concrete evidence that Ahsoka would have been destroyed without Luminaya's help. Ahsoka's got excellent experience, but her technical abilities and actual level of skill are a far cry from the level of a master, let alone someone of Xaj's level. If Ahsoka was a master lightsaber duelist, she would not be a Padawan.

True, but that doesn't mean that she got her ass kicked, that just means that she has trouble adapting when their opponents switch their strategies. Aside from that, they were fairly even in the force and in skill.
