That was just the result of an epic stretch of boredom. I live in the UK. It rains... a lot.

You can use Mark to laser mark what you have locked, and other pilots can use NVGs to see your laser. You can also GPS-S your target and hit SEND on the GPS waypoint screen to share the GPS waypoint

If youre still wondering vtol actually added a feature called "buddy lasing" which is basically lasers eith frequencies to let other prople fire at your laser. However as of now this is only in testing.

@@michaelwestmoreland2530 its not in the game yet but you can test it by using their public testing version of the game. Its basically a system for when two people want to do air to ground attacks one can mark the target and the other can shoot it

I use a Quest 2 with Virtual desktop. There are a few reasons why voice commands don’t work and most of the solutions are in the comments here 👍

Hey Kojeb, sorry for the late reply, I missed your comment. There can be a few reasons why when playing the game. Simple checks are make sure the radio down on the right, is set to on, volume up and set to PTT. if you click out of the game into another screen the game seems to lose the microphone. You will also see "Game screen not in focus" on your right and you need to click the game screen again. If people can hear you in multiplayer, and you don't have the not in focus warning then you should have voice commands. It could also be your accent. I find I have to repeat commands a couple times, occasionally. Try "Ground, Re-arm" when you start a mission (on the ground). This seems to be the easiest and quickest command to test. Good luck buddy, hope you get it working.

You can’t designate each unit, the commands are triggered by the word wingman/wingmen

I can land on a carrier. I can talk about VTOL. But talking about VTOL and landing on a carrier seems a step to far lol

There is a link to a mission I made for voice commands in the video description where the enemies don’t shoot back. I use the mic built into the Quest 2

I built my own PC to keep the cost down. Its AMD based. Tomohawk Motherboard, Ryzen 5 3600X processor, Radeon RX5500 XT 8Gb GPU, 32Gb DDR4 RAM, 1Tb SSD, 1Tb HDD. With 2x monitors, gaming mouse, gaming keyboard etc, it cost me just under £1000 GBP. Building a PC is quite easy and will save you a lot of money compared to a pre built PC.

I set the S-Cam to random and record both screens in OBS. Set the screen size to double size in OBS so you can record both screen inputs at full resolution. The rest is done in editing

I think you do need to identify yourself, but I think some map makers turn off voice commands. The "better" Airshow map for instance doesn't have tower commands

It could be several things really. First make sure your PC is capable of running the game by checking the specs on Steam. After that, check that all windows updates and GPU drivers have been installed. These are the most common causes

I heard putting the game window into windowed mode, Alt + Enter, can fox audio issues with voice commands

No I think that could be a bug. The new update with radio channels coming soon might fix that

@@TheFerretsWheels I switched my windows to English. Tried training it a bit, load up the game. Have it set up correctly in the cockpit and no joy, pretty sure it’s windows messing it up, ugh. If only the game had its own voice recognition instead of relying on windows

You can lock enemies with the radar, TGP or ARAD just as you would when you shoot them yourself. Once they are locked say “wingman, attack my target” to get the AI to attack instead

Where the engine gauges and switches are. Your call sign will be at the top of that panel in the FA-26B

Game window not in focus mean you have another app selected. Click on the game screen to make VTOL the primary window to fix

Check the light on the radio panel when you speak. If it turns green when you talk then your mic is ok. Try “ground crew re-arm”

@@TheFerretsWheels it dint help but the way it did is guys if it doesn't work and ur in a different country from the USA or something go to ur windows install the USA English voice pack set ur windows to that and bam it works

There is a link in the description to the Steam workshop page. You need to subscribe to the map. It is also a training mission so it will show up under training

Not sure if it’s a bug. I noticed my throat mic doesn’t work in SP but does work in MP, in the Jamcat at least

Once you are subscribed to a map it should show in the steam workshop under the downloaded tab. There is also a training page where maps labelled training will be stored

You need to subscribe to the mission either through the game in the steam workshop or through the steam app. Then they should be available in the steam workshop in game
