Rules of exponents, if 2 same bases are in multiplication with each other, their exponents are added. So in this case, we have X^2 multiplied by X^1/2. Normally add 2+1/2 with help of LCM and we get X^5/2. Note, the power of Root X is 1/2.

In second step we have to integrate with respect to y so x^2 will treated as a constant because they are in addition(x^2+y^2) so we have to integrate 1 ka integration y that's why we write x^2y
