In the time trial mode, the room is identical but it is called “Imagine spikes there, if you’d like”. This is because you need all trinkets and no deaths in order to get V rank on a time trial

@@EJN64 it means that you don't have to do that challenge with setting a checkpoint in the room and avoiding other checkpoints in order to die in that room after activating the moving platform to obtain the trinket: you are not allowed to die for V rank, but you HAVE to collect that trinket

T0PH704gaming Just practice. It's not too bad. A large portion of the gravitron is the same every time if you don't die. If you're talking about the screen wrap, the gravitron (and super gravitron) wraps around horizontally.

+dnCain The game thinks that I'm still on the ground (and therefore able to flip) when I'm really bouncing off the gravity line. This is due to the small distance between the ground and the line. The result is being able to pass through the line like it doesn't exist.

@@kolegapigmej The Tower was _absolutely_ ridiculously hard the first time I played the game (in 2015, on the iOS version, with the controls set to "Sides" (Super Gravitron style) where you can't really flip without also moving a little left or right), but it was the second level I V-ranked and (I think) the first level I S-ranked in Time Trials (it's on my channel).

the tower isn't that hard, but it's also like ten rooms in one so it tends to rack up a ton of deaths compared to other rooms.

I think that's possible on iOS if you can press flip at .000, unpress it at .033, and repress it at .067 (with a .017 window on each one), but that's much easier said than done on a touchscreen (I don't consistently get it and I spam V/Space on Mac)

Everyone wants to shine and be known for their skills, for what they are proud of. But it does not depend on the sole person, and it actually happens to very few people. Sorry to bother you with my thoughts, I know it looks weird to respond to a random KZfaq comment, but I am very passionate about the game and its speedrun! The most popular speedrun videos of this game are 5+ years old and people keep watching them while a lot has happened since then and now even more incredible achievements have been done by the community, but people will keep missing them and only gravitate around the same 3-4 videos :/

That's what it's called on no death mode, getting the trinket normally requires a death so the spikes blocking the trinket is removed in NDM and the room name changed to reflect that (in time trial the spikes are also removed and the room name changes to 'imagine spikes there, if you like')
