Not a bad idea to keep a spare pump when you hit the trails. Ive had a couple go bad and theres no quick fix. Another great video man!

Right on, I found the facet (USA) on eBay for $50 each, so I bought two. 😉

Hi Larry, love them simple and dependable electric fuel pumps! Just returned from a 1,000 mile trans-Alaskan road trip in the HiBearN8R and she performed flawlessly (a miracle for a 65 year young rig!) Hey, you got a Blazecut automatic fire suppression system on that badboy? Great for peace of mind! ✌️out. T

Good evening Larry. Hope all is well with you. Thanks for sharing your insight in this Endless Summer Series, to my ear, that engine sounded very responsive with the new fuel pump. What do you think, just my hearing or not? Take care my friend & have a good night.

Thanks 🙏 I went down one size on the idle jet. Funny how you figure that one out 😎. Doing the summer series has been fun and it’s been a lot of work. Every time I check off some thing off the list I seem to ad a couple more to it. Oh yea 70 degrees here today?? 😅 peace ✌️

Do you think the belly pan being on your DD makes any difference in it's off road performance? I wonder if it is stiffer than a standard kombi without the extra set of doors?
@VintageOverlandAdventures11 ай бұрын
Yeah, it’s really rigid. Very little flex. But I do have to choose the most level line and that’s not the easiest line most of the time. 😁🤒✌️
