Given it's not slated to go into production until 2022, I'd wager they'll have more than the currently advertised 270 mile range estimate by then. Battery development/technology has come a long way in recent years, and will undoubtedly continue to advance between now and then. Absolutely cannot wait until these things are available for purchase!! I know they'll have to make some changes for the production models, but hopefully not too many!! Fantastic!!

I would love to buy this new one, so retro! Does anyone know the correct name for the long windows on the classic bus that are above the side windows at the edge of the roof? Those are soo COOL! I would love to see those on the new ID Buzz bus, such a classic and original piece from the old busses. seems very few vehicles ever had them.

They seemed happily surprised re: California's love affair with Buses & Bugs. But VW was good enough to feature us in their official magazine, including this quote: “[Zelectric ]-the forerunner of Volkswagen’s electric offensive in America.”

BY THE TIME VW FINALLY GETS THIS ON SALE TESLA WILL HAVE BEEN SELLING MODEL S FOR A DECADE. WHY THE HATE FOR TESLA? THEY LIT A FIRE UNDER EVERYONE'S ASS.
