Thank you, it's sad but maybe it just wasn't the right time. I also had to get older and more experienced. In addition to the Ovali, I had already fallen in love with the VW T1 Transporter 20 years ago but I didn't have the money or the time (sometimes other things are more important). I had finished with it and was sure that I would never be able to own a VW T1. Now 2 years ago I was offered a T1 forest find from Finland and I was very skeptical at first. The pictures weren't exactly outstanding but the price was somewhat attractive. However, I hesitated but kept looking at the pictures. Because I didn't have any more pictures and the car was 2000km away. I finally said no and offered to ask someone else, so to broker the car further. When the floor was almost up, the buyer canceled through me and everything was back to the beginning of the negotiations. I looked at the pictures of the van for the umpteenth time and again and again and made a deep offer to the seller. I didn't think he would say yes. But I now had a German-made VW T1 from 1962. Oh well, what do you mean I had to transfer money abroad (i.e. advance payment) wasn't that convenient for me either (maybe that's why the first buyer canceled.) but I had already done a deal with the seller before and was hoping for the best. 1 month later the car was on my doorstep and it turned out that the condition was better than expected from the photos. As the saying goes, “It turns out differently than you think.” Thanks again for your nice comment.
