Yeah, i've noticed. I currently haven't got the tweeters in a fixed position. Still playing with the position to get the best place. When the ICE is finished (couple of weeks), I will post a video too.

Hi, the total weight of the damping per door with Standartplast is about 8 Kilo, not more. I just pimped the engine to 185 horse power so there is no problem :-) If you do use other materials you should be aware that they do not keep any humidity at all because otherwise after some Years you will have big problems with corrosion. greetz the klettman

Hey Man! Great build! I will be upgrading the System in my 2005 VW Touran soon. It all started as wanting to get a back-up camera...Now I am looking at the Kenwood DNX521DAB, Alpine MRX-F30, and Alpine SPR-60C for the front doors and SPR-60 for the rear. I saw that you disassembled the inner door panels, can you point me towards a good VW Touran teardown guide (book or website)?

Yes you need to damp the door plastic parts like hell because the mirrors are rattling as soon as it gets a bit louder. Maybe even the plastic boxes of the mirrors itself.
