I just drove my bug home 23 miles thro 12 stop signs 3 red lights past 2 cops and a good size up hill all with on clutch Now that is living the. VW LIFE

In 1977, I had a '66 pop top Westy, complete with the optional tent that fitted over the side doors. The first Star Wars movie had just came out, So its name was R2 Type 2. Not a single flake of rust anywhere. My brother was a Porsche/VW mechanic. He rebuilt a 1500 & put it in. My girlfriend & I spent 3 months on the road moving to Washington state from Ohio. Many unreal adventures & people along the way...

Justice Diablo Sandwich" would be a pulled pork sandwich in a bun, with some form of spicy BBQ sauce or hot sauce. For the purist, one must use Trappey's hot sauce, "Mexi-Pep" variant, as it was the brand sitting next to the ketchup on the counter in the scene.
