VZ Parts on the 4th Axis

Sometime you just don't have stock in the right size available for the small and simple Parts. So that's a fine excuse to use the 4th Axis again to reduce the number and complexity of the Setups needed to do the part.

Ich liebe deine Kameraarbeit (mal von dem Vorhang abgesehen), vor allem hast du meistens einen festen Fokus und eine passende Fokustiefe. So viele andere denken irgendwie sie müssten ihr Blende auf F1,4 stellen nur weil sies können und dann ist immer der falsche Teil vom Bild scharf oder sie haben den Autofokus an und immer wenn etwas durchs Bild wandert springt der um. Dagegen sind deine Videos immer eine Wohltat.

Danke, Fokus ist in der Tat immer so ne Sache. Das auf der Fräse mache ich immer mit Fix Fokus alles andere macht keinen Sinn. Aber von der Tiefenschärfe her ist das immer etwas die Frage wie groß die Teile sind. Bissel nen vorteil habe ich durch den kleinen micro four thirds Sensor und dadurch das die billigen Objective die ich hierfür nehme keine wer weiß wie große Blenden Öffnungen haben. Da tuts dann die Programmautomatik ganz OK ohne das man zu viel Spielen muss. Ab und an liegt man aber dann doch irgendwie daneben, der das Portal schiebt was davor oder die Kamera ausm weg oder so was ...... 🤣

Sehr cool, vor allem für solche kleineren Teile. Ist schon fein in einer Aufspannung fast alle Seiten zu erreichen. Schöne Arbeit!

Thx for sharing the awesome work. I'm currently building my own CNC mill. Fixed gantry type. I would like to know your opinion about planet CNC controller. After a month of research I've narrowed down to 3 ethernet controllers Acorn centroid: 90's looking GUI but seems to be the more stable with a lot of support. Strong perf with 1MHz pulse step. But they are expensive and all the accessory too (job, probe and so on ) Eding CNC. In the middle in term of price, strong documentation 400KHz pule rate. better loonking than centroid And Planet CNC that I've just discovered and you are not a lot of people of using it. It is the less expensive but I can't find any drawback comparing to the others (maybe the 110Khz pulse rate). Documentation sound less mature but their soft seems quite well designed with advanced feature. So after years of use did you find any drawback or any limitation on this controller and software. Thx

I really like the gui from planet cnc. And once one get used to how it work you can do a lot of stuff with it. The biggest drawbacks are the sketchy documentation and the hardware side is not that polished. Personally I don't like the look of eding and acorn. And in the end the gui is the one point that I will have to work with every time I use the machine, so it's a bit of a priority for me. If you plan to use Glas scales or simulanious 4 or 5 aixis I would recommend to stay away from planet. (don't know if the other two would support it).
