i would think for technically difficult passages that need legato would take good use of the pedal? Using finger legato is very difficult in Mozart's more technically demanding pieces. It just needs to be used sparingly. This movement sings alot, with alot of emotion, using the pedal suits this piece.

It is a little faster than I am used to. Having said that, and listened to your interpretation and the huge amount of expression you manage to put into the music, I was very happy with this tempo. As usual, you make it look so easy. I wonder if that fools some people into thinking you're not taking it seriously enough. My ears tell me unequivocally that you are.
