Stet Howland is kicking ass on the drums.

Listening to "The Crimson Idol" I understood the drums are actually instruments just like guitars. I was 19 when this album was published and it was an epiphany.

I remember watching this as a 15 year old and completely disregarding it as "glam" or whatever. 25+ years later and this is one of my favourite albums. This is a fucking amazing live performance of one of the best songs. Love it.

I wish Johnny was still with Blackie....So much better than Mike Duda...no offense. But he's technically a much better player....he has TRUE backing vocals and much better stage presence.

I used to have a short recording of the event from when they aired it on Headbangers Ball. Didn't think Wasp's performance there would be one of the few live videos available of Crimson. Not that I knew Crimson Idol would go on to become a rock classic.

Ive never seen a drum set like that. So how far is the bass pedal from the actual bass drum. Kinda cool, I guess??
