That first WASP record was an absolute fucking monster. There aint a bad track on it. All killer-no filler. Among the greatest Metal band debut records of all time. Nobody can ever take that way from Tony

The change did Great White a lot of good. One of the best rock bands from the 80s. Wasn't too much into them until I started teaching a lot of their songs. Great guitar playing from Kendall. His Blues background fit the band perfectly.

I remember reading this punk fanzine called “Dump Your Punk Rock Boyfriend” back in 2008, and there was a few issues all about Tony’s daughter Roczanna Orlando and there was a very specific page where she talked about her dad and WASP. it was a really good, interesting and very heartbreaking read. I loved those zines. Must of read it five times. Hate that I lost them… Anyway. I wanna say the first one about his daughter was called “you broke my fucking heart”. And there is a photo of her on the cover making a sad face. I Can’t remember the issue number(s), but there was two or three in that story arch. Each issue had a title, and I am pretty sure that was the name of the first one. Pretty interesting read if you can find it.

I thought Tony Richards did a great job on the self titled W.A.S.P. album. I had heard he got into drugs in a bad way but I'm still very surprised he hasn't turned up in another band that is relatively popular and successful. Based on his skills he deserves it!
