Yeah blaming the DA for informal settlements is wild. It's in the word, INFORMAL settlement. They don't pay tax on those houses so how must the DA help them with no money?

There is nothing left for tourism in the Cape snd Western Cape it does not help by flooding the Cape and expect government must look after you...as is there is no jobs in the Cape but thousands and thousand flood into the Cape. The majorly of these people, who have raised shacks all over Cape Town, was moved in from other provinces by the ANC, in their bid to regain power in the Western Cape. The COCT never would have located properties in marsh lands, as they would have been aware of the repercussions thereof annually. The annual occurrences are fires during summer time, in order to get S. A. ID. documents for illegal immigrants, and waterflooding during winter rains to get new clothes and bedding. NO government would subject themselves to these atrocities.

Note: Informal settlements... People in the WC who get permission and build adequate houses are not suffering from the floods or weather, the people who come from other provinces to build a shack on unsuitable land with 0 permission are not the responsibility of the DA... Especially when those people throw their rubbish everywhere which blocks any drainage.

If people steal land, why do you expect thieves to be rewarded, yet you complain if there are corrupt officials. This is not these people's ancestral land.
