I think the official phrase of the old NOI teachings was, "Allah who appeared in the PERSON of Master Fard Muhammad." Grammatically that can mean a number of things. It doesn't necessarily have to mean that Fard was God. It could mean Fard manifested godly attributes such as power, charisma, compassion, dedication, wisdom, knowledge, stealth, etc. There is a big gap between Fard and Elijah Muhammad, so it is hard to know what Fard really taught.

I don't see the "Lies" that your referring to. Nothing that i've come across from Master Fard's teachings has any "Lies". You can't consider methodology as Truth or Lie.... Methodology in teaching anything involves examples, scenerios and problems that a student is given to solve. Symbolism and type representation along with allegories are also used. Analogies, parables and mythology often use fiction and non fiction to explain or give an understanding of an actual fact/case/situation.

What I believe Master Fard Muhammad was doing by saying to his initial students, not to call him "God" or "Prophet", is because we were simply too young as a community to handle that degree. Elijah Muhammad knew that Master Fard Muhammad was Allah because of the 3 1/2 years of direct teaching by The Master to then Elijah Poole. The rest of us did not have this direct teaching and were too grafted to understand at that point. This is why the Bible prophesied that "Elijah has to prepare the way!" The true believer says, "Master Fard Muhammad, I used to be blind, yet because of you, now I see, not only Islam, but also that you as an individual human being, are in fact the Supreme Being who has the highest control of the atom, and you alone do I fear"

Brother, The Min. did not have to "check" the Imam. This was no debate or competetion. It was to clarify and dispell misunderstanding.
