It's something not really difficult to make but very handy and very useful of course. I think doing bevel cuts with what you made is probable too -- with some minor adjustment. This inexpensive guide, along with a good 6 to 6 1/2- inch cordless circular saw is much more cost-effective -- ensuring that we don't need those much more expensive track saws on the market. This video does help us to do some savings for some thing more necessary. Thank you so much for sharing.

Very nicely built and more professional than others using this method. One question. Would the guide be better if you could attach some of the fabric on the bottom of the guide so it doesn't slip? I am not sure what you call the material but it is on the expensive guides you can buy. I am going to build one the same way as you show but look for the material to put on the bottom of the guide. Thank you from Australia.

@@jimhansen5395 Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the only place in New Zealand to have such a thing is $29 for 75 feet which seems a little excessive to me. Maybe it's called something different here as I have found some tape which looks to do the same job. It will do anyway. Cheers.

I believe that outside East-Asia, Ryobi is a brand name only. The Ryobi branded tools you find in America are different from those you find in Europe are different from those you find in Japan. Only the Japanese ones are actually designed/produced by the Japanese Ryobi company, the others under brand license.
