Here we are, July of 2022. I have heard countless versions of this, including the original. For me, personally, this is the all time best version of this song. As many others have pointed out, her voice, her presence on stage, her emotional output; everything is perfect. She's singing to every one of us directly, and she's telling a story which we can feel in every note. G.E.M is simply the best.

***** Let me start the shitstorm here: I really disliked Rachels version, she has no feel behind it. It sounded childish and she missed some important notes. I didn't feel anything when she sang. I like this version here waaaay better. It's a matter of opinion and if you call someone stupid for having one you are stupid as well, because you have an opinion too. I love her voice. After listening to Beyonce and Reba singing it I think she did a better job. Love the video and how much emotion she put in it. By far my favorite!

It's matter of perception. Depends on what one would like to express and interpret from the lyrics. Reba and Beyonce had their own interpretation. Personally, the one from GLEE is full of emotions.

I just discovered this girl and this song and checked out Beyonce's version. Sorry to Beyonce fans, but there is no comparison. Beyonce sings it for entertainment. This girl sings it with her heart. Even though English is not her first language, every word is enunciated clearly and the song goes straight to your heart.
