That's is so true,this is her strong weapon that no other ever had.I had seen her journey since she join Malaysian idol and I know she has star material and will shine brightly in future.if u happen to like her,maybe u can check her singing Na Ying's song of Zhen Fu at final Asia singing competition (forgt d title ald😅),that makes me wonder she indeed suitable to go mainland market with such ability to interpret d songs so well,Malaysia Boleh-our pride👏🏻👍🏻❤️😍)

其实在马来西亚，大多数的纯正马来人是不会说华语的，看过节目中间的访问片段，都知道希拉中文说的不怎么样，唱的绝对比说的还好，她为了这个节目做了很多很多准备。

茜拉的唱法不是制式化 而是處理每一句的唱法 他的真假音轉換 轉音轉的游刃有餘 唱腔確實偏向歐美R&B式唱法 但是唱中文歌 咬字卻非常清晰 下足了了功夫 真要說她的缺點 就是她把每一句唱得太完美 表現得太鎮定 其實她唱的每一首都非常難唱 讓人感覺不到從低潮到高潮的變化.. 因為她轉音轉得太快容易 太過理所當然 他的高音轉音相當穩定 這是她的優點也是他的缺點 總體來說 如果能少用一些技巧多些感情會比較容易讓人感動

+昭逸 说的太好了，茜拉的声音却是太完美了。相比，邓的歌声太有活力，声音中的感情太吸引我。虽然超喜欢邓，但绝对不敢说她比茜拉唱得好。

那些說茜拉唱功一般的朋友...容我簡短的說下(GEM跟茜拉都很欣賞的我)~首先他的真假音切換非常熟練且完整~可能因為馬來西亞的語系對外語的接近~所以唱腔有受些西方歌手影響~激動下歌時的那種類似接近黑人唱腔(尤其像惠妮休斯頓)~和尾音的起伏拉法~只能說技術相當純熟~畢竟人家從10歲就開始出專輯~中國大陸主席訪問大馬時~影視界一致推舉茜拉為習近平獻唱~(((你們說他唱的一般或是不好???請問大馬的文藝界的專業度難道比你們差???大馬國圈內知道他功力跟實力有上水準~才敢推他獻唱)))我是不會說[[不然你們去唱]]這樣的話...畢竟領域不同...但是希望在欣賞之餘先提升自己的水平~不然也聽不出差異=======再者我相當喜歡鄧紫棋~在這一輩新人中~如果男歌手陳奕迅再下來最有機會的是蕭敬騰~~那張惠妹跟容祖兒下來~可能就是鄧紫棋~音域高且能厚~雖然有點大舌頭但是真的是太可愛了(雖然腿還沒修減下來~不過外型很可愛>_

Gosh, her techniques are good and always under control. Her voice comes out effortlessly. Besides some of her weird hand gestures and pronunciations difficulties, she's a great singer without a doubt. I can feel so much of her emotions from just a video. I cannot even imagine what will happen if I watch her live performance myself

Before I only like 2 or 3 chinese songs but now when I heard Shila sang, I like all the songs even I don't understand the meaning but I still enjoyed listen to her lovely and colourfull of voices and english songs too, it's awesome and good than the origenal singer. Shila congred to U and U can go further but what people says about U don't throw away your hijab.

鄧紫棋、茜拉會各擁支持者，有重疊、有互攻，因為都太強了 !! ..茜拉音域更高、更渾厚，當然鄧也是非常了不起，惟因是華人，其對意境、感覺的表達更深入、更特別，茜拉無法企及.....可是茜拉的歌仔細聽，真是強啊 .. 簡言之，茜拉令人更佩服，紫棋令人更陶醉......兩人都好到令人.......祟拜 !!

A very talented Malaysian lady who can sing in several languages - Melayu, English, Mandarin- among others. Her songs are very pleasant to the ears and soothe one's mind. She contributes her singing to the world by appearing in concerts all over the world particularly in the Peoples Republic of China.

+Hashim Abdul Wahab my opinion is, it doesn't matter what languages she sings with, she can always show the best meaning of the song and show people she understands the song and deliver the message, which is rather difficult for most of the singers, but also the most important part.

+Hashim Abdul Wahab lol the only flaw in her singing in this video is her pause and go and this kinda screw up her singing in some part especially the end . sometimes she pause at the wrong moments and it just feels wrong . nevertheless still a very talented singer.

though I live in HK, I enjoy more when listening to her songs instead of G.E.M. Her voice is much softer. But I must say G.E.M. is talented among all singers in HK.

ling1111bysmart - tho GEM is talented, her rendition of Imagine was no where as polished as Theresa Carpio. Singing is not about loudness, it's more about control and delivery with own spin & innovation.

This is undoubtedly Shila's best song at the IMAS competition. She not only slayed the song, she owned the song. Even the original singer, Guan Jie commented that Shila's rendition was the best.

starting from Shila, I start to get serious listening to Chinese songs, before this I just love The lagendary Teressa Tang and My sister The Late Anita Mui....now Almost all Chinese song I like...until that it is not about the singer, and not even about understanding the lyrics but it is all about the feels that come from the songs and the quality of voices and tones....so abstract and so wonderful indeed!

previously i dont really like chinese song, but bcos i was not exposed to much of the songs. i found out that i like the chinese traditional instrument Incorporated into the song. very nice to listen to

GEM 唱功很好，很好听，但我更喜欢shila唱的，听shila唱歌我都会有种鸡皮疙瘩的感觉，无论快歌慢歌，rock的她都把歌曲演绎得非常棒！相反的，唱抒情歌曲的时候，GEM往往过度炫耀，结尾都用浮夸的飙高音来唱，一首伤感的抒情歌感觉被破坏了...感觉不对了，个人觉得她的舞台风格有点over，唱的是很好的! 十扑shila！超爱她的美国腔唱法，低吼，接近海豚音的高音，完美的转换高音等等！

I myself sing on stage for Sunday services. Her skill is just spectacular, is like an acrobat. I love 18:10 & 19:05, she makes it looks so easy and in fact not many professional singer can perform the part. Must have a trained flexible throat muscles. She also sang the same song differently every time, in the transition parts. I would like to see myself sing closer to her level.
