If Srinath had supporting acts with the capabilities of Bumrah, Shami and Siraj, at the other end…..we’d have won SO MANY MORE tests in that era. Heck he would have been even more effective with a Zaheer (2006-11) partnering him ! He was an attack bowler ! He needed an aggressive captain !

Very effective bowling by Srinath in the match... It was just Aussies played well in the WC final 2003 against Srinath and India lost...

And Srinath was also past his prime in 2003 but he bowled well throughout the 2003 World Cup alongside youngsters. Aussies were a beast back then.

In third test he was not in team due to injury...that's why Australia defeated us easily...mark Waugh,Mark Taylor all utilizes his absence...scored big ones..

He never had proper support from the other end and BCCI managed him terribly. Got so badly injured he had to remodel his action. Was not the same as before the action change. But he was still a good bowler with no support at the other end . Again lots of injuries post the new action . Could have developed into a much more potent bowler had the mgmt done a better job with him. What a bowler!!!

How is Healy unlucky is a mystery! it is crashing straight into middle and leg! you can see that in plain sight.. that umpire did a very good job in that match. his only problem was while giving decision he would walk away and give out... but he was 100% in every decision he took!

U can hear the ridiculous amount of bias in the commentary back in the day!😅 The moment white teams came to lose...the opposition bowlers get lucky when given out!
