Thank you for the video. I have a V8 m113 from 2001, 109k miles. Trying to figure out why I have the slightest misfire on cyl 1 especially on cold start, not enough to even throw a code. Replaced coil and plugs with bosch brand didn't help. All other maintenance up to date. Any thoughts?

just knew from you that merc labels everything down to resistance in the plug wires. I'm starting to think that merc isn't that scary to maintain after all. 👍

Looking for advice I have m271 i4 kompressor i want to engine swap it for a c32 but i want the m112 not the272 So with the m112 theres 2 versions Na and kompressor/amg Can i take the normal engine and just slap a kompressor with a tune and belt an pully on will it work or are the engines inside different exept the compression ratio from 10:1 to 9:1

I believe this m113 engine has a required/specified gap of 0.039 However, I ordered the standard Denso U-Groove pack of 16 since I have the v8 and I have a p0300 random misfire code which leads me to look into the plugs o replaced and noticed they came with a 0.044 gap 😵😳🤦🏻‍♂️ but I'm confused because they show as compatible when you look up the reference #s.. first time I've had this issue so I'm wondering if I should just gap them to spec or not? I've always used NGK and never had an issue until now..

Need to be practical, 2kohms and 2.2kohms is the same,no need to replace plug wires; some new ones also read 2.1 and 2.2, not less because of the laws of RFI, that is why the wires have resistance,which is a shame, and the same with the spark plugs; neither one is useful for racing,of course, there you need the whole full high voltage,not in-line resistors that weaken the spark.
