Wacky Races (NES) All Bosses (No Damage). Played by ArekTheAbsolute. "Wacky Races" is platform video game for the NES. The game is based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon Wacky Races and features Muttley and Dick Dastardly as the main characters. Boss list:

Almost a spin off into the flying machines. I have played Crash and Dash, Mario Kart, Zelda Spirit Tracks, Midnight Club 3

My very first nes game on pc. One of good games on nes. I used basic attack for all bosses when I was ten, but without no damage.

Okay, I shouldn't be surprised that there's a _Wacky Races_ game on the NES, 'cos everything had a NES game. However, I wasn't expecting a platformer with Muttley biting the other cars into submission. In Mega Man style arenas. I'm pleased by this, but also baffled. XD

Reminds allot the capcom platform games in style and quality,the only thing is bugging me a little was the way you have muttley attacks with the bite.I believe they should have give him some kind of other attacks as well.Not sure though if he has and didn't have the player use it,i do see those bombs & such however in the menu below and understand that he can use those as well! Also for a wacky races game you would expected to fight the characters in a cart game or some short,i would prefer if you could fight them without their vehicles because that would made allot more sense in general.And few stages with racing as well i think would be awesome.But due to the systems limitation i can understand it because i am a nitpicking the whole matter allot i believe! ;)

+T@wesomE Muttley has two equippable attacks. He can toss bombs and bark. To activate them, collect a bone, then hit Select when the cursor is over either the bomb icon or the bark icon.

I can understand cars like Crimson Haybailer flying and jumping all over the screen, but... Cars like the Compact Pussycat and Turbo Terrific doing the same thing? I know this is a game based on a cartoon and it doesn't have to make sense, but come on. Let's have some realism, at least give them a reason to be able to jump.

Ok, I can pass on the nes mechanics (music, jumping, ecc) because they are pretty good. But, SERIOUSLY?! You go through all the levels to (I suppose) stop your opponents and make Dastardly win... and you just have to bite them instead of activating your traps... I'll tell you, this concept is an insult to one of my favorite cartoons of the past, I love the original Wacky Races and I hate this game. No comment for the final boss, there could've been anybody else.

Yeah this seems like one of those games where it was something different in Japan and they just slapped the license on it in the west... only it's the same thing in Japan, too. So much about it doesn't make sense. Why is it a platformer? Why is Muttley's main attack a bite with such a tiny hitbox? Why do most of the bosses throw a generic ball as a weapon? Why does every one of them have a point where they teleport? Why does Penelope get different music? Why are the Slag Brothers the final boss? I'm very glad that ShadowSerg uploaded this, don't get me wrong. I'm loving these no damage boss battles and I watch every one. But man, this game is disappointing-looking on multiple levels.

+IamTheS Well said. Anyway, I suppose the moment in which they teleport means they get angry... in any case it doesn't make any sense.

+stef96ify And why are you assuming Dastardly wins? Spoiler, no, he doesn't. There are three maps where you help out Dastardly, only to still end up in trouble (for example, when he's captured by wild natives and you're rescuing him, you end up tied up as well), and even during the ending of the game, Dastardly crashes and loses, while Muttley is snickering at him. And as far as weapons go, biting is only the basic attack, you have more weapons in your arsenal, IF you chose to use 'em, And Arek apparently chose the harder path. All in all, while it is a weird choice to make Wacky races into a platformer, it's still a very good spinoff, and far from an "insult".

+MidBoss666 I just hypotised that Dastardly won, I never said it actually. Anyway sorry if I insist but this is my first impression. I expected to see an actual race, even if you had to face the other racers one by one... at least it would've respected its name. In any case, think as you wish.

+stef96ify And I never said you "said" it, I asked why were you assuming it. And I agree it is a weird choice of genre for a Wacky Races adaptation, it was still an amazing game (played the hell out of it back in the days XD), and it really does keep that unique Wacky races humor. On the flipside, I don't think it would end up good as an actual racing game back in the days, at least not a NES one, it was only on Genesis, SNES and onwards that those were done right. I'd say you should give it a chance.

The tittle on this one is pretty misleading making you think it is a racer rather a platform,it seems pretty cool i believe though.Nice boss rush as always shadowserg without taking any damage!
