Woah the Desert looks looks like another world. The jeep safari and sand boarding look like such a good time. Oh my gosh that kitten was so cute. Petra is such a magical place. I dont know if we will ever get to see it in real life so its amazing that you shared your adventure. xx

I stayed in a tent very similar to yours and I did more or less the things you did, including the lamb cooked in the sand ... good guys I love Wadi Rum, Petra fantastic but tiring ... haha interesting closing of the pickup door

The tent set up was so interesting, we loved it!! That truck had definitely seen better days but it did the trick 🤣

Looks like a relaxing time--except for all the kms walking. I am now going to check on google to see what a Wadi is and some history of Petra (which looks like interesting). Enjoy your family time in Egypt.

Petra means The Rock; biblical reference to Peter. Very interesting history, unique and old. Wadi--most often a dry river bed.

Yes!! We learned the meaning of Petra right before going but we can’t remember where now - very interesting though!!
