I followed through.. But I = v/r Current and voltage have direct relationship so I expected their values to respect that but instead your values showed inverse association.. Maybe something went wrong with the reading or so.. All the same I enjoyed everything you did..learnt alot too
@kingtamTV
@kingtamTV 2 ай бұрын
Yes, current and voltage have a direct relationship. And both will increase when either the current or voltage is the parameter being varied. But you have to note that it was the resistance that was being varied in the experiment. Resistance has an inverse relationship with current and a direct one with voltage. So, when resistance is being varied, you have to expect a decrease in current and an increase in the volt. I hope this answers your question.

The metre bridge can still be used without a galvanometer. A meter bridge is a device used to measure unknown electrical resistance by balancing a circuit with a known resistance against it. This can be done by using a battery and a rheostat in the circuit, and measuring the voltage drop across the unknown resistance using a multimeter(which can be a voltmeter and an ammeter) instead of a galvanometer. The balance point can still be found and the value of the unknown resistance can be calculated using the formula of the meter bridge principle.

@vindalsacademy

Well the truth is that. It is possible, maybe it will then function as ordinary wire or terminal. But, what I demonstrated was the principle of wheatstone bridge. Where you can use galvanometer to find the balance point inorder to measure the unknown resistor. I will still maintain that for the principle of wheatstone bridge a galvanometer is a must use.

According to Ohm's Law, Voltage and Current are not inversely proportional. They are actually "directly" proportional according to Ohm's Law. The reason your current and voltage were giving inverse values was because your Ammeter was in series and Voltmeter was connected in parallel in your experiment.
@vindalsacademy
@vindalsacademy Жыл бұрын
I think I was talking about resistance. However, you can't connect voltmeter in series. It must be connected in parallel with the resistor. Also, since ammeter and voltmeter are moving inverse. It has a reason to think they don't agree. I know it's because of resistance. So please enjoy the video.

Yes, you are right according to ohms law current and voltage are directly proportional but his values are actually correct because what is been varied is the resistance. So the values are correct with respect to resistance, cause voltage is directly proportional to resisrance and current is inversely proportional to resistance
